Ok I must confess...
I did not take this picture.
Mark did.
He's a remarkable photographer.
Really.
Ask to see his portfolio someday.
I can't sleep tonight so I'm browsing baby pictures which is what I like to do when I can't fall asleep. Jonas was 9 days old. We were trying to get shots for the birth announcement. He was NOT happy about having his picture taken.
I don't feel well. My lungs are tight and feel kinda "watery".
I'm on prednisone in hopes that it will cut the asthmatic coughing cycle I've gotten myself into recently.
I skipped my 9 mile run I was planning on doing with the Fleet Feet group this morning to get some rest, got a morning nap while Jonas and Daddy went to their swimming lesson, had Cheesecake Factory for lunch (yum!) and spent the afternoon at the park.
Maybe it was the nap. Maybe the coffee at lunch. Maybe the meds.
It's past midnight and I can't sleep.
I did do some postprocessing. The original was taken w/ a Canon 10D with (if I remember correctly) a 50 mm lens in natural filtered window light. I used Picasa to "warmify", convert to B&W and then "warmify" again. I'm not happy with the degree that Picasa warms the tones with its sepia setting and there is no way to control the degree but this is the closest I could get with Picasa 3. I'll probably redo it once I get Photoshop on my computer.
