There are no words to express the sorrow I feel for the Tucsonans that lost friends and family to the senseless shooting in Tucson the morning of January 8th. Our prayers go out to those who are lost and those who are trying to heal.

I had the pleasure of taking a Capturing True Emotion Photography Workshop from Val Westover and  Stephanie Adriana on Friday. It was a basic photography workshop. I found there were basics about the camera I knew how to use but not utilize fully. I learned a lot about the camera that I knew by experimentation but it never really "clicked" (pardon the pun) as to why. I also learned alot about how to use the camera as a metering device to get my exposures consistent (something I've never really been able to do without lots of trial and error).

I also found that Jonas will sit still for any photographer except his mother.
