Knit Night at Ike's

I meet a couple times a month with a group of fabulous women from various walks of life to eat, knit and chat for a few hours. I'm not a crafty person by any means but this group of friends leaves me feeling at peace with the world every time we meet.

Ironically, I'm the only crocheter of the group although I'm learning how to knit now too.

Bobcats at Bearizona

During our camping trip to northern Arizona, we visited Bearizona, a drive-through wild animal park just outside of Williams, AZ. Most of my photographs are typical "family vacation" type pictures so I'll spare you but I did like the way these pictures of the bobcats turned out.


 

 

 

Kaibab Lake

We spent five days in northern Arizona near Williams in a rented RV. My parents and siblings brought their RVs and we camped at Kaibab Lake. It was so nice to spend time with family in the cool pines.

This was actually a point and shoot pic that was too overexposed but I loved catching 2 year old Jonas' expression. I converted it to B/W and played with it a bit to get the effect I wanted.
