Experiments

It's been awhile since I posted. The months have just flown by and I find that 2012 is almost done. It's not that I haven't been shooting. In fact, I've been photographing quite a bit. My wonderful husband gave me a new Canon T4i body and the new Canon 40 mm STM pancake lens for my birthday in August. I had also been transferring my work to a laptop, installing and learning Adobe Lightroom, shooting in RAW, and finally, learning how to export pictures from Lightroom to Blogger. I had previously been using Picasa but I wanted to start streamlining my work using Lightroom. With all that plus Halloween, my son's Birthday, Thanksgiving, and now Christmas, this poor blog was neglected. I'll be doing some catch up to update w/ work from the last 6 months. It maybe a bit rough at first. Still working out the kinks you might say.

So as an experiment in exporting to Blogger from Lightroom, I'm using a couple photographs of a shawl I made this summer. My other hobby is crochet and I'm learning to knit. This is a shawl design called Piquant. The pattern is by LilyGo. I loved working on it.

Wearing the Piquant

My favorite spot to photograph my crochet work is the dining room table because of the natural light.
